Double Triple Foods – official participant in Food Pioneers Accelerator
Double Triple Foods has been selected as one of 15 innovative companies within the Food Pioneers Accelerator (FPA), a cross-border programme supporting food companies in Flanders and the Southern Netherlands in scaling up their product or production process.
The programme is committed to making the food chain more efficient, sustainable and healthier by supporting innovative companies in (technical) scale-up. This includes, for example, finding a production partner across the border and contributing part of the budget towards addressing the scale-up challenge. Food Pioneers Accelerator encourages cross-border collaboration and thereby strengthens the innovative ecosystem in the agri-food sector in the border region.
Kristof Mertens, CEO & Founder: “With our participation in Food Pioneers Accelerator, we are taking another great step forward. In the coming period, with the support of FPA, we will be working on the further scale-up of our direct milking process in collaboration with partner Bodec. We look forward to realising our ambitions together with the partners within this programme and contributing to a future-proof food sector.”

Food Pioneers Accelerator is an initiative within Interreg Flanders-Netherlands, funded by the European Union and made possible in part by the Province of North Brabant, the Province of West Flanders, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Province of East Flanders. The Food Pioneers Accelerator project group consists of three organisations from the Southern Netherlands and three from Flanders: Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij, Flanders’ FOOD, Impuls Zeeland, POM West-Vlaanderen, LIOF and ILVO.

Double Triple Foods – officieel deelnemer aan Food Pioneers Accelerator
Double Triple Foods is geselecteerd als één van de 15 innovatieve bedrijven binnen Food Pioneers Accelerator (FPA), een grensoverschrijdend programma dat voedingsbedrijven in Vlaanderen en Zuid-Nederland ondersteunt bij het opschalen van hun product of productieproces.
Het programma zet zich in om de voedselketen efficiënter, duurzamer en gezonder te maken, door innovatieve bedrijven te ondersteunen bij (technisch) opschalen. Bijvoorbeeld door een productiepartner over de grens te vinden en een deel van het budget voor de uitvoering van het opschalingsvraagstuk bij te dragen. Food Pioneers Accelerator stimuleert samenwerking over de grens heen en versterkt zo het innovatieve ecosysteem in de agrofoodsector in de grensregio.

De komende periode gaan we met steun van FPA werken aan de verdere opschaling van ons direct vermelkingsproces in samenwerking met partner Bodec. Over Food Pioneers Accelerator
Food Pioneers Accelerator is een initiatief binnen Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland, wordt gefinancierd door de Europese Unie en mede mogelijk gemaakt door Provincie Noord-Brabant, Provincie West-Vlaanderen, Ministry of Economic Affairs en Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen.
